Glenda Kebortz, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C, is a nurse practitioner specializing in mental health and family practice. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Western Kentucky University with an undergraduate degree in nursing, gaining experience in the ICU/CCU, home care and hospice, and nursing management. Fulfilling a career goal, Glenda completed her master’s degree in the Family Nurse Partitioner Program from the University of Southern Indiana in 2015. She practiced in family medicine for five years, developing expertise in the treatment pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients with medical and psychiatric illnesses. A desire to help patients with severe mental health issues prompted Glenda to learn more about mental health care. She then completed the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Northern Kentucky, earning the title of PMHNP-BC (across the lifespan).

Glenda’s comprehensive psychiatric preceptorship provided experience in treating clients of all age groups with various mental illnesses, including ADHD, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, schizo-affective disorders, substance use disorders, and others. She uses a client-centered, holistic, integrated, and collaborative approach to psychiatry, emphasizing overall wellness.

Using evidence-based practice, Glenda provides psychiatric diagnostic services, medication management, and brief psychotherapeutic intervention to patients of all ages, from children to older adults. With over thirty years of nursing experience, Glenda’s goal is to help clients achieve a sense of well-being and live their lives to the fullest.
