Biography

Charity Franey is a dedicated mental health professional who earned her degree from Missouri Baptist University in 2018. Fueled by her passion for mental health, she continued her education at Indiana Wesleyan University, specializing in creative art therapies, play therapy, and substance use. With a diverse background and a wealth of experience, Charity has made a positive impact on various populations, ranging from foster care and adoption support to trauma and abuse victims. Her areas of expertise also encompass grief counseling, family conflict resolution, and providing assistance to individuals with disabilities.

As a certified practitioner of Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Charity places a strong emphasis on creating a Person-Centered environment. She incorporates evidence-based approaches to empower her clients to achieve their personal goals. At the heart of her practice is a profound belief that everyone deserves a safe space where they can be genuinely seen and heard. She also has a special interest in serving the Christian community, as well as individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and their caregivers.

Beyond her professional life, Charity values moments with her family. She’s a passionate coffee enthusiast and finds solace in nature, always making time to recharge and reconnect outdoors.
