Who we are
Charity Franey is a dedicated and experienced counselor and administrator with a strong commitment to supporting individuals and families. In 2017, she interned at Blash Counseling Associates, where she provided 300 hours of counseling and developed personalized treatment plans. Prior to this, she completed a practicum at the same institution, gaining 112 hours of counseling experience, attending supervision sessions, handling administrative duties, and coordinating with insurance providers.
In 2017 and 2019, Charity organized The Believe Project, a two-day event for women with histories of abuse. From 2020 to 2023, she worked at Lifeline Youth and Family Services, where she documented client interactions, provided therapy, and participated in regular supervision sessions.
Additionally, Charity served as an administrative assistant at Blash Counseling Associates in 2017, managing client information and reports. Between 2012 and 2016, she worked as a nanny for TLC for Kids, caring for children with special needs. As a resident advisor at Urshan College from 2014 to 2015, she managed dormitories and provided peer advisory counseling.
Charity holds a Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Missouri Baptist University. She furthered her education at Indiana Wesleyan University, focusing on Play Therapy, Creative Art Therapies, and Substance Use, and completing an internship with Lifeline Youth and Family Services.
