As a Mental Health professional, I have gained valuable experience over the course of 10 years. My work started on an inpatient mental health unit where I served as a registered nurse for five years while obtaining a Master’s degree to become a Nurse Practitioner. Since then, I have transitioned to working as an outpatient mental health Nurse Practitioner in a community mental health center.
During my career, I have had the opportunity to care for patients with a wide range of mental health disorders, including but not limited to ADHD, Psychotic Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Substance Abuse Disorders, Sleep Disorders, and Intellectual Disabilities. Since the outbreak of Covid-19 in 2020, I have been providing mental health management through telehealth.
Mental health is a passion of mine, and I am committed to partnering with patients and their care teams to help them achieve optimal mental health. By working collaboratively with my patients, I can help them attain their goals and live fulfilling lives. It brings me great satisfaction to witness the progress and success of those I have the privilege of serving.
